Dr. Francesco De Meo

CEO

After completing his law degree and doctorate, Francesco De Meo initially worked as a lawyer and managing director of a German management consultancy. In 2000, he moved to Helios, a start-up hospital operator in Germany. Within two decades, he developed the company into Europe's leading private hospital group, serving as CEO of Helios from 2008 to 2023 and on the board of the DAX-listed healthcare group Fresenius. Francesco De Meo left the company at the age of 60. Today, he supports transformations worldwide and advises startups in the healthcare sector. His latest book, "Waking the Sleeping Giant", on the future of the German healthcare system, has just been published as an eBook.

Prof. Dr. Jörg Martin

Chief Medical Officer

After his medical studies in Tübingen, Jörg Martin began his specialist training in anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine at the Robert Bosch Hospital in Stuttgart. In 1988, he then moved to the Alb Fils Clinic in Göppingen, where he worked in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, first as a specialist physician, later as a senior physician. From 2006 to 2013, Jörg Martin was Managing Director of the Alb Fils Clinics. From 2013 to 2024, he was Managing Director of RKH Holding, a municipal network with 7 clinics. From 2012 to 2024, he chaired the IQM Specialist Committee for Transparency and from 2015 to 2024 was a member of the IQM Presidium. Since 2024, he has held consulting mandates in healthcare.

Dr. Christian Weber

Chief Financial & Technology Officer

Christian Weber studied mathematics in Mainz and obtained his Ph.D. from McMaster University in Canada and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn. He began his professional career as a management consultant at McKinsey, where he spent more than 13 years. In addition, he has over 15 years of operational experience in the German and international healthcare sector in positions like head of corporate development, CFO, managing director, and board member. As co-founder of AImax, he is responsible for finance and the technical development of AImax products.
